Ken Kinkopf is founder and president of Kinkopf Capital Management, LLC. Mr. Kinkopf is a member of the National Futures Association and registered with the Commodities Futures Trading Commission as an associated person and principal of Kinkopf Capital Management. Mr. Kinkopf has been involved with market forecasting for over 20 years and began investing using a simple risk management model in 1983. This led to an influential desire to study the concepts and applications of risk management.
After an inexhaustible endeavor, he correlated a risk-reward model using statistical transformations on atypical data. Mr. Kinkopf incorporated exploratory data analysis with advanced forecasting techniques using statistical modeling software to build his trading strategies. These techniques fostered the creation of a systematic, non-discretionary trading system, which Mr. Kinkopf began employing beginning 1999.

1980’s
During the late 1980’s, he exploited profitable opportunities in short sales of select, high volume, low priced stocks. In 1988, Mr. Kinkopf began trading options on foreign currency futures. The following year marked the beginning of his exclusive trading in the highly leveraged S&P 500 futures and options trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

1990’s
In May of 1991 until 1996, he co-foundered and became president of K&D Financial Corporation in New York, which provided sell-side financial advisory services in the managed futures industry. The company was registered with the CFTC as a CTA and was a member of the NFA. Mr. Kinkopf managed client accounts using a discretionary trading system. In addition, he also provided technical advice for two forecasting advisories and wrote articles discussing several of the statistical tools and techniques used in his forecasting models.

In 1996, Mr. Kinkopf focused his attention towards consulting, business development and to fine tuning his trading methodologies. Since, 1999, Mr. Kinkopf successfully trades proprietary commodity trading accounts on a live daily basis.

2000 - present
In 2003, Ken Kinkopf co-founded KD Development Group LLC, a company that provided retail franchising services, business consulting, and security reviews. Ken Kinkopf was acting president and managed a 35-employee team before selling his interest. In 2005, Mr. Kinkopf founded Kinkopf Capital Management.

Mr. Kinkopf is currently managing client funds using the identical techniques he uses to trade his proprietary account.

Mr. Kinkopf was also ranked #2 and #3 for 5-year and 3-year trading periods respectively ending March 2006 by CTA-INFO.com based on ROR from CTA`s trading under $10 million US Dollars, submitting data on proprietary funds.

In November of 2007, Mr. Kinkopf was one of eight global speakers invited to present forecasting strategies at the Taiwan 2007 Futures Trust Enterprise Forum in Taipei.

The risk of loss in futures or options can be substantial, therefore only genuine "risk" funds should be used in such trading. Futures and options may not be a suitable investment for all individuals and individuals should carefully consider their financial conditions in deciding whether to trade.
